Inspiration

The Great Wave Off Kanagawa, or Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura, is a woodblock print by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, created around 1831. This print, part of the series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, features a towering wave threatening boats with Mount Fuji in the distance. It remains one of the most celebrated works of Japanese art.
